  • 1215 wooden skewers or bamboo sticks
  • Decorative wrapping paper or cellophane
  • Ribbon or twine

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly to ensure chocolate sticks well.
  2. Prepare workstation by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper and arranging skewers and chocolate.
  3. Melt bittersweet chocolate with 1 tablespoon oil in microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth and glossy. Melt white chocolate separately if using.
  4. Skewer each strawberry carefully through the stem end.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over skewered strawberries, alternating dark and white chocolate if desired.
  6. Place skewered strawberries on parchment-lined baking sheet, sprinkle sea salt if using, and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes until chocolate hardens.
  7. Arrange the chocolate-drizzled strawberries in a vase or container, wrap the base with decorative paper or cellophane, and tie with ribbon or twine.
