A quick and easy creamy peach milkshake made with fresh ripe peaches, vanilla bean ice cream, and milk. Perfect for a refreshing summer treat with a silky smooth texture and bright, natural sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large fresh ripe peaches, peeled and sliced (about 1 to 1.5 cups puréed)
  • 2 cups (480 ml) vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk (or almond, oat, or any dairy-free milk)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons granulated sugar or honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peaches by washing, peeling, and slicing them into chunks. Place in blender and add fresh lemon juice.
  2. Blend the peach chunks and lemon juice until smooth. Taste and add 1-2 teaspoons sugar or honey if needed, then blend briefly again.
  3. Add vanilla bean ice cream and milk to the blender. Optionally add vanilla extract and more milk if a thinner shake is desired.
  4. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add ice cubes and blend again if a colder, more diluted shake is preferred.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more honey, sugar, or milk as needed and blend briefly.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses or mason jars. Garnish with a peach slice or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Peel peaches to avoid bitterness and grainy texture. Use ripe but firm peaches for best flavor. Adjust milk quantity to control thickness. Use high-quality vanilla bean ice cream for richer flavor. Blend until smooth but avoid over-blending to prevent frothiness. Store extra peach purée in airtight container in fridge up to 2 days. Milkshake best served immediately.
