This easy candy corn bark with white chocolate and pretzels is the perfect salty-sweet treat for fall. Made with just three main ingredients, it comes together in minutes and is a crowd-pleaser for Halloween parties or any autumn gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers (about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists or pretzel sticks, roughly crushed
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • Flaky sea salt (optional, for topping)
  • Orange or yellow sprinkles (optional, for topping)
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries or chopped dried cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, letting the paper extend slightly over the edges.
  2. Place 1 cup of mini pretzel twists in a zip-top bag. Seal and gently crush with your hands or a rolling pin until you have a mix of small crumbs and pea-sized pieces. Set aside.
  3. Place 12 ounces of white chocolate chips or melting wafers in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until mostly melted (about 1 to 1½ minutes). Stir vigorously until smooth and glossy.
  4. Pour the crushed pretzels into the melted white chocolate and fold gently with a rubber spatula until evenly coated.
  5. Pour the chocolate-pretzel mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread into an even layer about ¼-inch thick using the spatula.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle 1 cup of candy corn evenly over the top. Gently press each piece into the chocolate so they stick.
  7. If using, sprinkle flaky sea salt, sprinkles, or dried fruit over the top while the chocolate is still soft.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or 20 minutes in the freezer) until the chocolate is completely firm.
  9. Once set, lift the bark off the baking sheet using the parchment paper edges. Break into irregular pieces with your hands or cut with a sharp knife. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Do not rush the melting process; white chocolate burns easily. Keep all utensils and bowls completely dry to prevent the chocolate from seizing. For best texture, crush pretzels to pea-sized pieces. Let the bark set fully before breaking. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
