This festive Halloween charcuterie board combines sweet and savory elements, featuring creamy brie, sharp cheddar, salami, prosciutto, pretzels, and candy corn. It’s quick to assemble in under 15 minutes and perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, wedge
  • 4 ounces salami, sliced
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mixed olives
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, roasted and salted
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup candy pumpkins
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate-covered almonds
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup fig jam or orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • Edible glitter or gold dust (optional)
  • Small Halloween-themed picks or toothpicks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients (5 minutes): Take the cheese out of the fridge to come to room temperature. Slice the cheddar into thin, even slices or small cubes. Cut the brie wedge into two or three larger pieces so guests can easily scoop it. If you’re using prosciutto, gently separate the slices and let them breathe on a plate.
  2. Position your bowls (2 minutes): Place your small bowls or ramekins on the board first. I like to put them in a triangle pattern—one for the fig jam, one for the honey, and one for the olives. This creates visual anchors and fills the space nicely.
  3. Add the cheese (3 minutes): Arrange the cheddar slices in a fan pattern on one side of the board. Place the brie pieces near the fig jam or honey so guests can easily pair them. Leave a little space between cheese varieties so they don’t blend together visually.
  4. Layer the meat (3 minutes): Fold the salami slices into quarters or roll them into small cones. Arrange them in a cluster near the cheddar. Drape the prosciutto in loose, wavy ribbons next to the salami. The folds create height and texture.
  5. Fill in with crunchy elements (3 minutes): Scatter the pretzel sticks in one section, mini pretzel twists in another. Add the salted peanuts and pumpkin seeds in small clusters. Don’t overthink this—just let them fall naturally into the gaps.
  6. Add the sweet elements (3 minutes): Sprinkle the candy corn and candy pumpkins in small, intentional piles. I like to put them near the cheese so guests can try the sweet-and-salty combo. Add the dark chocolate-covered almonds and dried cranberries in separate clusters.
  7. Garnish and serve (2 minutes): Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the board for color. If you’re using edible glitter, lightly dust it over the candy corn for a magical effect. Add Halloween picks or toothpicks for easy grabbing. Serve immediately or within 2 hours.

Notes

For best flavor, take cheese out of fridge 30 minutes before serving. Prep ingredients up to 24 hours in advance, but assemble no more than 2 hours before serving. For a gluten-free version, swap pretzels for gluten-free crackers or rice cakes. For a vegetarian version, skip the salami and prosciutto and add more cheese or roasted vegetables.
