A quick, no-cook overnight breakfast bowl featuring Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and mixed berries. This recipe requires only 5 minutes of prep time and offers a creamy, pudding-like texture packed with fiber and protein.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (non-fat or low-fat)
  • 1/2 cup milk (almond, dairy, or oat)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: granola, sliced almonds, or nut butter

Instructions

  1. Take four clean mason jars and ensure they are dry.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the honey is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the chia seeds into the yogurt mixture and stir vigorously with a fork for about 30 seconds to prevent clumping.
  4. Divide the chia-yogurt mixture evenly into the four mason jars.
  5. Top each jar with a quarter of the mixed berries.
  6. Cover the jars with lids or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  7. In the morning, stir the bowl well. Add a splash of milk if too thick, top with desired toppings, and serve cold.

Notes

Stir chia seeds immediately after adding to prevent clumping. Frozen berries create a natural syrup as they thaw. The mixture thickens over time; add more milk if desired. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
