A stress-free, no-cook charcuterie board featuring fresh figs, creamy brie, toasted nuts, and honey. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any holiday gathering, this elegant spread balances sweet, salty, and crunchy flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large wheel of Brie cheese (8–12 oz), room temperature
  • 1 pound fresh figs, halved
  • 1 cup fresh grapes (red or green)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds), toasted
  • 1 box water crackers or artisanal baguette slices
  • 1 cup dried apricots, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey (dark variety like buckwheat)
  • 1/4 cup cornichons or pickled onions
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs

Instructions

  1. Remove the Brie from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 45 minutes to 1 hour to enhance flavor and texture.
  2. Wash the figs, grapes, and cranberries, then pat them completely dry. Halve the figs lengthwise.
  3. Toast the mixed nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant. Let them cool completely.
  4. Place the Brie wheel in the center or slightly off-center of a large wooden board as the anchor.
  5. Place the bowl of honey next to the cheese and arrange crackers or baguette slices in a pile or fan them out, leaving visual breathing room.
  6. Tuck the halved figs around the Brie and scatter grapes, cranberries, and dried apricots in the empty spaces to create color contrast.
  7. Add clusters of cornichons or pickled onions to provide a sharp contrast to the sweet and creamy items.
  8. Sprinkle the toasted nuts evenly over the empty spaces and add fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for aroma and visual appeal.
  9. Just before serving, drizzle honey lightly over the Brie and figs.

Notes

Always bring cheese to room temperature before serving for the best flavor. Toast nuts to bring out oils. Assemble the board no more than 30-60 minutes before serving to keep crackers crisp. If making ahead, prep ingredients separately and store in the fridge.
