A light and fruity peach white sangria featuring fresh mint and sparkling Moscato, perfect for summer sipping and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe peaches, sliced (preferably freestone)
  • 1 small bunch fresh mint (about 1012 leaves), gently torn
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled Moscato wine
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) peach schnapps
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chilled club soda or sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly and slice them thinly, discarding the pits. Set aside about a quarter of the slices for garnish.
  2. Gently tear the fresh mint leaves to release their aroma and add them to a large pitcher.
  3. Add the sliced peaches to the pitcher with the mint and stir gently to combine.
  4. Pour in the chilled Moscato, peach schnapps, and lemon juice. Stir gently to blend the flavors.
  5. Taste the sangria and add honey or agave syrup a tablespoon at a time if you prefer it sweeter.
  6. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 2-3 hours, to let the flavors infuse.
  7. Just before serving, add the chilled club soda or sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently.
  8. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the sangria over, and garnish each glass with reserved peach slices and a sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

For more peach flavor, muddle some peach slices at the bottom of the pitcher before adding liquids. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Use large ice cubes to avoid quick dilution. If Moscato is unavailable, use dry sparkling white wine or sparkling white grape juice for alcohol-free version.
