A simple and unforgettable summer party drink combining fresh strawberries, tangy lemon juice, and smooth vodka for a refreshing punch that’s perfect for any gathering.

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (240 ml)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150 g)
  • 3 cups cold water (720 ml)
  • 2 cups vodka (480 ml)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Thin lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced strawberries in a large pitcher or punch bowl. Using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, gently press the strawberries about 10-15 times until they release their juices but still hold some shape.
  2. Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves completely, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add 3 cups (720 ml) of cold water to the pitcher and stir again to combine.
  4. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. If short on time, add ice cubes to chill quickly but avoid adding too early to prevent watering down the punch.
  5. Just before serving, pour in 2 cups (480 ml) of vodka and stir gently to combine.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the punch, and garnish with thin lemon slices, fresh mint leaves if using, and a few whole strawberries.

Notes

Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for best flavor. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is essential for brightness. Add vodka last to keep punch fresh and lively. Adjust sweetness by varying sugar or substituting with honey/agave syrup. For a non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and add extra water or sparkling water. Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed and drained. Garnish with mint or lemon slices for aroma and presentation.
