These Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats are creamy, naturally sweet, and take just five minutes of prep. A perfect grab-and-go breakfast for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (45 grams)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (32 grams)
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (120 ml)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (60 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, 15 grams)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: sliced banana, extra peanut butter, granola, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe banana in a mason jar or small bowl until mostly smooth.
  2. Add milk, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup or honey (if using). Whisk or stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until all oats are coated.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight (8-12 hours).
  5. In the morning, stir the oats. If too thick, add a splash of milk. Top with desired toppings and enjoy cold or warm (microwave 30-45 seconds).

Notes

For best texture, use rolled oats (not instant or steel-cut). Mash banana thoroughly for a creamy base. Oats keep in fridge up to 5 days, best within 3. If too thick, add milk; if too runny, reduce milk or add more chia seeds.
